ADDITIONAL WARNINGS
Do not use the machine in potentially
explosive environments, in the pres-
ence of flammable liquids, gases or
dust. Electrical power tools generate
sparks which may ignite dust and va-
pours.
Do not overload the machine. Use a
machine which is suitable for the work
being performed. A suitable machine
will perform the work better and more
safely at the speed for which it was de-
signed.
Keep the extension flex well away from the
auger. The auger may damage the cable
and lead to inadvertent contact with live
parts.
Never run the machine over the power
cable. During use, always drag the ca-
ble behind the machine to avoid trip-
ping over it or it getting hooked onto
objects located in the area in which the
snow thrower is being used.
Only plug the snow thrower into sockets
with an earth circuit breaker. The earth cir-
cuit breaker must trip at max. 30 mA.
The machine's power cable, if damaged,
must be replaced with a genuine spare part
only. This operation must be performed by
your local dealer or a specialized service
centre.
The permanent connection of any electrical
equipment to the building's electrical net-
work must be carried out by a certified elec-
trician in compliance with the relative reg-
ulations in force. An incorrect connection
may lead to serious injury and even death.
If the electrical cable is damaged during
use, proceed as follows:
•
Stop the machine.
•
Move away from the machine in the
opposite direction to where the cable is
damaged.
•
Unplug the cable.
ENGLISH
Connect the snow thrower to an approved
cable for outdoor use.
Never use the cable improperly. Do not
use the cable to transport or pull the
machine. Do not pull on the cable to
remove the plug from the socket. Keep
the cable away from heat sources, oil,
sharp edges and moving parts. A dam-
aged or tangled cable increases the
risk of electric shock.
The machine's plug must be compatible
with the socket. Never modify the plug. Do
not use adapters with earthed machines.
Unmodified plugs and matching sockets
will reduce the risk of electric shocks.
Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces
such as pipes, radiators, cookers and re-
frigerators, etc. The risk of electric shock
increases if the body is in contact with an
earthed surface..

TRANSPORT AND HANDLING
Whenever it is necessary to move, lift ,
transport or tilt the machine it is necessary
to:
•
wear hardwearing work gloves;
take hold of the machine in places which
•
offer a safe grip, taking into account it's
weight and centre of gravity.
•
carry out the operation with as many
people as are needed to handle the weight
of the machine safely and based on the
characteristics of the means or transport
or the location where the machine is to be
placed or picked up.
During transport, make sure the ma-
chine is securely fastened with ropes of
chains.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
WARNING! - Before cleaning or doing
maintenance work, disconnect the spark
plug cable, take out the ignition key and

quate clothing and work gloves whenever
your hands are at risk.
WARNING! - Never use the machine with
worn or damaged parts. Faulty or worn-out
parts must always be replaced and never
repaired. Only use original spare parts: The
