5.2 Special maintenance
WARNING!
Before performing any maintenance operations wear heat-resistant gloves. The engine head block (10) and the muffler
(11), the compressor head block (22), the copper hose (33) and the pilot valve (18) get extremely hot.
Special maintenance work is to be performed by qualified mechanics.
NOTE: Before performing any maintenance on the engine, refer to the Use & Maintenance manual supplied.
Perform the procedures below in the order given:
a)
Set the selector (16) in the OFF position and switch the engine off.
b)
Close the cock (8) on the fuel tank.
c)
Open the exhaust valve (35) to empty the air tank.
5.2.1 Tightening the drive belts
NOTE
-
If the belts need to be tensioned, contact the nearest Authorised Service Point.
5.2.2 Changing the oil in the compressor
NOTE
Perform this operation while the compressor is warm, after it has operated for a period of time.

Remove the oil cap (30).

Loosen the drain plug (32) and allow the oil to flow out

Close the drain plug

Fill up with the indicated oil (see the oil chart) through the oil inlet (30) until the maximum level in the sight glass (31) is
reached.
5.2.3 Replacing the drive belt
NOTE

If the belts need to be replaced, contact the nearest Authorised Service Point.
5.2.4 Replacing the pilot valve muffler (18)

Remove the filter and replace it.
5.2.5 Servicing the pilot valve (18)
Contact the nearest Campagnola Authorised Service Point.
5.2.6 Repairing the fittings because of air leaks

Unscrew the fitting, put TEFLON on its thread and then tighten it again. If this does not work, the fitting needs to be
replaced.
5.2.7 Maintenance of the operating lever

The regulation of the operating lever shall be performed by an Authorised Campagnola Assistance Point or dealer.
