• Use of the automatic spray gun in explosive areas belong to Ex-Zone 0!
• Do not use solvents and cleaning agents based on halogenised
hydrocarbons! Chemical reaction which may occur when using these
substances may be explosive!
2.4. Safety Instructions
Technical status
■ Never start using the automatic gun when damaged or when parts are
missing.
■ If the automatic gun is damaged, stop working with it immediately,
disconnect it from the compressed air supply system and vent the unit
completely.
■ Never make any unauthorised modifications or technical changes to the
automatic gun.
■ Every time before using the automatic gun, check the unit with all
connected components for any signs of damage and ensure it is fitted
firmly; carry out any necessary repairs.
Materials
■ Processing acidic or alkaline materials is prohibited.
■ The processing of solvents with halogenated hydrocarbons, petrol, ker-
osene, herbicides, pesticides and radioactive substances is prohibited.
Halogenated solvents can result in explosive and corrosive chemical
compounds.
Operating parameters
■ The automatic gun may only be operated within the parameters stated
on the unit and in the operating instructions.
Connected components
■ The connected components must reliably withstand the thermal, chemi-
cal and mechanical loads expected when using the automatic gun.
■ When pressurised hoses work loose, their whip-like movements and
any material that is squirted out can cause injuries. Always vent the
hoses completely before they are loosened.
