1. Disable mains power
Always turn OFF the mains power (In the meter closet) before you begin the installation or removal
of this product. The ACM-2300H can be used for either two wall switches connected with one lamp
(stairwell/hotel circuit) or for one single wall switch connected to one lamp.
2. Loosen ceiling lights
Remove the existing lighting/equipment from the ceiling, leaving the wires connected to the lighting.
Lighting/equipment may not exceed the maximum of 2300 watts. If there is no live wire present, it
must be pulled. Consult an electrician if in doubt.
3. Warning for stripping wires
3A. Make sure the wires are stripped for 5mm.
3B. When connecting the wires to the ACM-2300H make sure the stripped wires are pressed fi rmly
in the module, no exposed wires are visible and the wires cannot touch each other. This can cause a
short circuit.
4. Disconnect the switch wire and neutral wire
To install the ACM-2300H disconnect the switch wire and neutral wire of the lamp. (Disconnect
from terminal block or cut the wires if necessary) Consult an electrician if in doubt about wire
colours.
5. Connect the live wire and the neutral wire to a terminal block
(a) Connect the live wire from the ceiling box to a terminal block. Connect the other end of the live
wire also back into the same terminal block.
(b) Connect the neutral wire from the ceiling box to a di erent terminal block. Make sure other
Trust Smart Home receivers are placed at least 50 cm from the ACM-2300H to prevent interference.
6. Connect the switch wire and neutral wire of the lamp to the terminal block
(a) Connect the (black) switch wire from the ceiling box to the [S] contact.
(b) Connect the (blue) neutral wire from the lamp to the terminal block of the neutral wire. Connect a
new wire from the neutral terminal block on to the [N] contact.
(c) Connect the switch wire from the lamp on to the [O] contact.
