OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING
• Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1, along with
hearing protection. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes and
other possible serious injuries.
• Do not use any attachments or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer of this
product. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended can result in serious
personal injury.
7. To Attach Battery Pack
a. Open the battery-compartment cover (H).
b. Align the raised portion on the battery pack
with the grooves on the bottom of the tool,
then slide the battery pack onto the tool, as
shown.
c. Make sure that the latches on the battery
pack snap into place and the battery pack is
secured to the tool before beginning operation.
d. Batteries with a capacity of 4.0Ah or greater
are recommended to achieve proper cutting
performance and reasonable runtime.
NOTICE: When placing the battery pack on the
tool, be sure that the raised rib on the battery pack
aligns with the groove on the tool and the latches snap into place properly. Improper assembly
of the battery pack can cause damage to internal components.
To Detach Battery Pack
a. Press the battery-release buttons to release the battery pack.
b. Pull backward on the battery pack to remove it from the tool.
WARNING
• Battery tools are always in operating condition. Therefore, always remove the battery pack
when the tool is not in use or when carrying the saw at your side.
8. Power Indicator on the Mower
The mower is equipped with a power indicator (G)
to indicate the charge level of the battery pack(s)
and the working status of the mower. The power
indicator will illuminate when the blade is rotating.
• The green light indicates that the battery packis
over 20% of its charge capacity.
• The red light indicates the battery pack's charge
is low.
• The blinking red light indicates that the battery
pack is overheated and needs cool down.
Mower-Overload Protection
To prevent overload conditions, do not try to
remove too much grass at one time. Slow your
cutting pace or raise the cutting height.
