"VIND" SENSOR – This sensor protects the awning (within certain limits) from gusts of wind blowing above a set
threshold. For this reason, the autonomous operation of the system prevails over the manual commands sent by the user
and the interaction between the two modes is as follows:
– autonomous operation – When the sensor detects a wind speed above the set threshold, after 3 seconds the For-Max
T commands the awning to rise (▲). Then when the wind speed drops below the set threshold, the system deactivates its
autonomous operation and restores it after 10 minutes.
– manual operation – When the wind speed drops below the set threshold, after a certain amount of time (after 1 mi nute,
with sensors Volo and Volo ST; after 4 minutes, with sensors Volo-R and Nemo) manual commands can be sent. This pos-
sibility remains until the sensor detects the wind exceeding this threshold again.

WARNING – The climatic sensors in the series
Volo and Nemo are not to be considered safety devices
that eliminate faults on the awning caused by heavy rain or
strong winds (in fact a simple power failure would make
automatic movement of the awning impossible). There-
fore, these sensors must be considered part of the au -
tomation, used for the safeguard of the awning.
Nice declines all liability for material damage caused by at -
mospheric agents not detected by the sensors.
