• During the frying with hot air, the heating light (8) comes on and goes off constantly.
This indicates that the fryer has reached the optimum temperature, maintaining the
temperature within.
• Excess oil from the food is collected in the lower part of the bowl.
8.
Some food items need to be stirred during cooking for an optimum result (see the
"Configuration" section in this chapter). Remove the bowl (1) from the appliance
using the basket handle (4) and stir. Next, slide the bowl (1) back into the fryer.
important: Do not press the button on the handle during removal to stir the food.
tip: If you set the timer to half the cooking time, you must stir the food when you
hear the timer bell. However, this means that you have to reset the timer for the
remaining cooking time after carrying out this step.
9.
When you hear the timer bell (5), it will indicate that the cooking time has elapsed.
Pull the bowl (1) out of the appliance and place it on the basket/bowl support (4).
Note: You can also turn the appliance off manually. Turn the temperature control
button (6) to the required position .
10. Check that the food is ready.
If the food is not yet ready, set it for a couple more minutes.
11. To take out small food items, press the basket release button (3) and remove them.
Do not put the basket face down with the bowl attached, as any excess oil collected
in the bottom of the bowl will fall onto the food.
Food residue and food items are hot after air frying. Depending on the type of food
used in the fryer, the steam may come out of the bowl (1).
12. Empty the basket (2) into a recipient or onto a plate.
Tip: To remove large or delicate food items from the basket (2), use a pair of tongs.
13. When you have finished frying the food, the fryer is immediately ready for its next use.

conFiguration

This table will help you select the basic settings for the food.
Note: Keep in mind that these settings are indications. Food items differ in origin, size
and shape; we cannot guarantee the best preparation for your food.
Because the rapid air technology instantly reheats the air inside the appliance, briefly
removing the bowl during frying barely affects the process.
tips:
Small food items require slightly less cooking time than larger items.
A larger amount of food ingredients requires a slightly longer cooking time, while a
lesser quantity requires slightly less cooking time.
Stirring the smaller ingredients halfway through the cooking time optimises the final
result and can prevent the food from frying unevenly.
Add a little oil to fresh potatoes to make them crispy. Fry the food in the fryer after
adding the oil.
Do not prepare very greasy foods such as sausages.
Food suitable for the oven can be cooked in this fryer.
The optimal amount for cooking chips is 500g.
Use pre-cooked foods for preparing snacks quickly and easily. Pre-cooked foods
require less time than those prepared at home.
Place a mould or baking dish in the basket of the fryer if you want to bake a cake
or a quiche.
You can also use the fryer to reheat food. For reheating, set the temperature at 160°
C for a maximum of 10 minutes.
