Installation Instructions – LDA2B/LDSQAB/LDA2BCP/LDSQABCP Commercial Recessed Adjustable LED
TILTING
1.
This fixture allows for up to 45-degree tilt. Please note
due to natural physical limitations of varying ceiling
thicknesses, trim aperture, and number presence of
additional lens media, full 45-degree rotation may not
be possible and/or full light output from the fixture may
be limited.
2.
It is recommended to remove the optic to perform this
operation due to the limited space.
3.
Insert Phillips screwdriver into tilting bracket (see figure
9). Unlock mechanism by turning the locking screw
counterclockwise. A few turns will loosen the brake.
Push the mechanism to the desired tilting angle.
4.
To lock the mechanism at the desired angle, insert the
Phillips screwdriver into the Phillips screw and turn
clockwise until some resistance is felt.
5.
Replace the optic.
6.
Please note:
a.
There are angle alignment markings on the side of
the mechanism (figure 10).
b.
If the proper angle is known before installation, the
lid can be removed and the mechanism manually
placed at the proper tilt angle.
c.
For round and square wall wash trims, the optimal
tilt angle is 15-degrees (figure 10).

TRIM INSTALLATION
1.
Remove the trim from its packaging.
2.
To clean, gently wipe with a soft, clean, dry lint-free
cloth to remove dust.
3.
In the event fingerprints are placed on the reflective
area, use a mild detergent solution on a soft, clean
cloth to remove them.
4.
Wipe with clean water and dry with a soft, clean, dry
lint-free cloth.
5.
The above cleaning method can be used anytime during
the life of the trim.
6.
Once the fixture is installed and the final position is
locked in, gently insert the trim into the collar.
7 .
If using a wall wash, the angle of the lens should
correspond with the direction and angle of the
mechanism head (see figure 11).
8.
For wet location or IP55 and higher applications, it is
recommended to use caulk or silicone to seal the trim
to the ceiling.
