Pushbutton > press for 6 seconds until the LEDs flash twice per second. The object is
calibrated after the pushbutton has been released for 3 seconds.

C - Setting - Normally open / normally closed
Pushbutton > press for 9 seconds until the LEDs flash three times per second. Nor‐
mally open / normally closed status switches after the pushbutton has been released
for 3 seconds.

D - Setting - Return to factory setting
Pushbutton > press for 12 seconds to return the sensor to its factory setting.
The sensor must be disposed of according to the applicable country-specific regula‐
tions. Efforts should be made during the disposal process to recycle the constituent
materials (particularly precious metals).
SICK sensors are maintenance-free.
We do, however, recommend that the following activities are undertaken regularly:
Clean the active detection surface
Check the screw connections and plug connectors
No modifications may be made to devices.
