• Connect the power cord only to an appropriately fused and wired AC outlet with
the correct voltage, as specified on the product.
• Disconnect from line voltage by removing the power cord from the AC outlet.
• Remove the battery pack from the Multi-Unit Charger when charging is
completed.
• This Multi-Unit Charger is designed for charging only and is not designed for
operation (transmit or receive) of the radio. Always turn the radio off when
charging the battery.
• Periodically wipe the charging terminals in the each slot of the Multi-Unit Charger
using a dry cloth to ensure good connections between the charger and battery
pack.
• Ask your Motorola Solutions dealer regarding the usable AC Power Cord in your
area.
• When charging a battery pack alone (not attached to the radio), do not allow any
metal object to short the terminals of the battery pack.
• Do not allow any metal objects to short the terminals in the slot of the Multi-Unit
Charger, as a short-circuit could cause overheating of the charger circuitry and
create an electrical hazard.
