8 Recommissioning the Inverter

18. After replacing the H-AC-CON assembly, ensure that the inverter is functioning properly:
• Ensure that the new type label has been attached since the inverter's serial number has
changed.
• Check whether the current settings of the inverter correspond to the settings before the
assembly had been replaced. If the settings have been reset due to replacing the
assembly, adjust the settings to the parameters before the assemblies had been replaced
(see inverter manual).
• Check which firmware version is installed on the inverter (see the inverter manual) and
whether a current firmware version is available. If necessary, update the firmware version.
Pay attention to the following: If the current firmware version is 2.xx.xx and the system is
an existing system, do not update to a version higher than firmware version 2.99.99.R.
Otherwise, the parameter designations change and the settings of the system control must
be completely redone.
• For inverters that were equipped with a firmware version ≥ 3.00.00.R before the
assembly had been replaced, perform the following steps:
– Set the country data set via the rotary switches of the communication assembly or a
communication product to SMA other standard / other standard (see manual of
the inverter or communication product).
