7. Install the Stopper
The drain stopper should rise approximately 3/8" (1 cm) above
the strainer. Adjust if needed.
If adjustment is required, remove the stopper and loosen the nut
below the stopper.
Raise the stopper by turning it counterclockwise, or lower by
turning it clockwise.
Tighten the nut.
If sufficient clearance cannot be obtained by adjusting the stopper,
remove the lift rod assembly.
Loosen the locknut.
Rotate the turnbuckle counterclockwise to lengthen the lift rod, or
clockwise to shorten the lift rod.
Tighten the locknut.
Install the lift rod assembly.
