7.3 Blasting Nozzle
Replacement
Remove the sandblasting nozzle from the holder.
Loosen the knurled screw (Figure 23).
Pull the nozzle out (Figure 24).
Inspect the mixing chamber for wear and remove
any abrasive residue (Figure 25).
Insert the new nozzle (Figure 24).
Retighten the knurled screw hand-tight.
A setscrew was used in previous versions
instead of the knurled screw. Loosen the
setscrew using the Allen key included in
the accessory kit and retighten it HAND-
TIGHT after insertion of the new nozzle
(Figure 23a).
7.4 Changing the Abrasive
Pull the unit out over the edge of the table
(Figure 26).
Tipping hazard!
A second individual should help steady
the unit.
Position the container to catch the used abrasive
(Figure 27).
Open the abrasive drain hole (Figure 28).
Clean / and resecure the filter (Figure 29 / Fig-
ure 7).
Close the abrasive drain hole (Figure 28).
Add new abrasive (Figure 10).
7.5 Replacing the Viewing
Pane
Loosen the retaining screws (Figure 30).
Remove the old pane and install the new one
(Figure 31).
Carefully retighten the retaining screws
(Figure 30).
7.6 Replacing the Blasting
Hoses
Regularly inspect the blasting hoses for damage and
wear. Replace damaged hoses immediately.
Disconnect the sandblasting unit from the
compressed air supply when replacing the
blasting hoses (Figure 3).
Drain the abrasive out of the unit
(refer to Section 7.4).
Loosen the hose clamp and pull the hose off the
connector (Figure 32, 33, 34).
Install new hoses (Figure 32, 33, 34).
Use only Renfert OEM replacement hoses!
7.7 Replacing the Fluorescent
Lamp
7.7.1 Device with LED lighting
The service life of LED lighting is far higher than that
of a fluorescent tube. Therefore, the LEDs can not be
changed individually, the complete lighting has to be
changed (see chapter 8, Spare Parts).
7.7.2 Device with fluorescent tubes
In these devices, the fluorescent tubes can be
changed.
Danger of breakage!
Do not press on the fluorescent lamp or
try to bend it when replacing it. We recom-
mend using gloves or a cloth to protect
your hands in case of breakage.
Switch off the unit.
Pull plug out.
Lightly press light cover on the right side and
remove it (Figure 35).
Pull fluorescent lamp horizontally out of the socket
and remove it.
Vacuum socket as thoroughly as possible.
Insert new fluorescent lamp in the retainer and
slide it horizontally into the socket (Figure 36).
Install lamp cover in the housing on the left side,
then press it to the right until it clicks into position
(Figure 37).
Use only original Renfert replacement
fluorescent (see chapter 8, Spare Parts).
7.8 Lamp cover
In the course of time, the lamp cover can become
matt. This cover can be ordered as a spare part.
Changing the lamp cover:
Switch off the unit.
Pull plug out.
Lightly press light cover on the right side and
remove it.
Insert the new lamp cover on the left side of the
lighting case, then press on the right side until it
clicks into place.

The components excluded from the warranty (such
as consumables or parts subject to wear and tear)
