For sealing apply the hot-melt glue in stripes at the
spot to be sealed. The glue can be levelled with a
spatula.
The bonded connections can be dissolved again
using heat.
Protruding glue remains can be removed without
any problems with a heated knife.
Glue drops are removed best when cold.
In case of longer work breaks (more than
30 minutes), pull the plug from the socket, since the
hot-melt glue inside the gun can disintegrate.
Moderate pressure on the feed helps to finely dose
the quantity of hot-melt glue. Excessive pressure
may lead to the hot-melt glue stick getting stuck in
the glue gun and thus blocking the feed: Heat the
glue gun for 10 minutes and pull out the stick.
Should the stick be too deep inside the glue gun,
head a new stick on the glue gun, melt with the
jammed stick and pull out carefully. Caution! Do not
pull the stick all the way out of the glue gun. Hot glue
running into the glue gun may cause damage.
