2. Install the Lavatory
Cut out the opening by carefully following the pencil line traced
from the template.
CAUTION: Risk of personal injury or product damage. Large
lavatories are very heavy. Get help lifting the lavatory into place.
Temporarily set the lavatory into the countertop cutout to check
for fit.
Remove the lavatory from the countertop cutout.
Install the wall-mount faucet according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
Install and connect the drain to the lavatory according to the
manufacturer's instructions. Be sure to use the tube and gasket
provided when installing the drain flange.
Apply a continuous bead of sealant around the countertop
cut-out hole.
Carefully fit the lavatory into place over the countertop cut-out
hole. Position the lavatory so the Kohler logo is to the back.
Position the mounting ring holes over the lavatory studs. Securely
hand tighten the wing nuts to evenly draw down the lavatory to
the countertop. Do not overtighten.
Carefully wipe away any excess sealant.
