19) Only use this machine in the way described in these
instructions.
20) Periodically check that the screws are tight.

stem.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
1) The power supply voltage must correspond to that indicated
on the technical data plate. Do not use any other type of
power supply.
2) It is advisable to install a trip switch on the electrical power
supply line; consult a reliable electrician.
3) The power socket must be bi-polar and earthed (10-
16A/250V). Extension cords must have an equal or superior
section to that of the machine and must be earthed.
4) Keep the power cord away from hot objects, from damp,
greasy or sharp surfaces.
5) The power supply cable must be checked on a regular
basis and before each use of the machine to check if it
is damaged or worn. If it is seen to be in poor condition,
do not use the machine but have the cable repaired by an
authorised service centre.
6) Do not use the power cable to lift the machine, transport it
or unplug it from the socket.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS

1) Switch the machine off and unplug it from the power supply
when removing processing waste.
2) Keep your fingers away from the saw.
3) Do not try to saw a round piece of wood without a flat side
if you do not possess a guide suitable for this purpose.
4) Keep the material to be cut secure and push it against the
blade at a uniform speed.
5) Switch off the machine in the event of breakage and at the
end of every cutting process.
6) Secure the machine to the support surface using the specific
holes on the pedestal and through screws, thus preventing
it from tipping up and/or suddenly shifting position.
7) Always ensure that the machine is connected to a suitable
sawdust suction system when in use.
8) Keep the piece to be cut firmly on the work surface.
9) Do not remove any stuck pieces before the blade has
stopped and before you have disconnected the machine
from the power supply.
10) Do not cut wood containing nails or screws.
11) Do not use damaged or deformed cutting blades.
12) Only use the blades described in the technical data.
13) Replace the blade guide insert when it is worn and replace
the protection if it is broken.
14) Use the piece pusher when you draw near to the blade
during cutting.
15) Before starting the machine, make sure that the blade is
not jammed.
16) Do not stop the blade in any way.
17) Do not touch the blade when in motion.
18) Do not use the saw bench without the blade protection and
divider knife, adjust them in keeping with the instructions.
INSTALLATION
Check the full supply, the integrity of the machine and all
accessories before starting it.
Do not plug the machine into the power socket when instal-
ling the machine.
- Secure the saw bench to a strong work table using wooden
screws inserted in the holes in the base (Fig.C).
- Connect the extraction fan connection (Fig.A pos.7) to a good
sawdust suction system (not included.
STARTING UP
IMPORTANT! Before starting the machine, make sure that
the protection devices are in perfect order and that the
blade is well secured.
Only use the switch to start the machine (Fig.A pos.10):
To start the machine press the green button with the (I)
symbol;
To stop it, press the red button with the (O) symbol.
The switch is also fitted with a minimum voltage device, which
automatically turns the switch itself "OFF" in the event of a
power cut, thus preventing accidental start-up when the power
supply is restored.

REPLACING COMPONENTS

IMPORTANT! Before any control and maintenance, always
disconnect the machine from the power supply by unplug-
ging it and make sure that the switch is in the off position
(0). Always wear protective gloves during the following
operations.
REPLACING BLADE (Fig. D)
Unplug the suction system from the extraction fan connection
(Fig.A pos.7); remove the blade's protective casing (2) un-
screwing the screws first (1); use a 19 mm open end wrench
to remove the nut (3) keeping the motor shaft still with another
8 mm open end wrench. Remove the flange (4) and the blade
(5), extracting it diagonally from the bottom. Clean the blade
holder flange (6) and the motor shaft thoroughly. Replace the
new blade, following the operations in reverse order.
When installing the blade, make sure that the direction of the
stamped arrow corresponds to that on the blade's protective
casing (Fig.A pos.3), which is anti-clockwise from the assem-
bly side. Secure the blade lock nut (3).
Reconnect the dust suction system!
Always use good quality blades, suitable for the work to be
carried out. The use of worn, damaged or poor quality blades
may compromise the good working order of the machine and
pose a hazard to the operator.
Only install blades of the dimensions listed in the technical
data in these instructions.
Once work is complete, check the position of the divider knife
(see chap. ADJUSTMENTS).
REPLACEMENT OF THE BLADE GUIDE INSERT (Fig.A
pos.6)
When the blade guide insert is worn, it needs to be replaced
as it can pose a safety hazard.
