Installation Operation Maintenance
Before Calling For Service Checklist
If a problem arises during operation of your ice storage bin, follow the checklist below before calling service.
Routine adjustments and maintenance procedures are not covered by the warranty.
Problem

Possible Cause
Drain incorrectly installed
Ice machine and bin do not have separate
drains
Water-cooled condenser and bin do not have
separate drains
Drain obstructed
Baffle is incorrectly positioned
Ice forming ice bridge
Bin is not emptied on a regular basis
To Correct
Drain must be open site with an air gap and
correct pitch
Correct drain installation
Correct drain installation
Clear drain
Readjust baffle
Breakup ice bridge with paddle.
Verify water is not leaking from ice machine
into bin.
Readjust baffle
Empty bin to remove congealed ice regularly.
Verify water is not leaking from the ice machine
into the bin.
If the issue is not resolved, install a thermostat
to lower level of ice in bin to meet current
usage.
