Connecting to Power
Before switching on make sure that the
voltage of your electricity supply is the
same as that indicated on the rating
plate.

The wires in the cord are coloured
as follows:
Blue = Neutral, Brown = Live.

The appliance must be protected by
a 3A approved (BS1362) fuse.
Note:

For non-rewireable plugs the fuse
cover MUST be refitted when
replacing the fuse. If the fuse cover
is lost then the plug must not be
used until a replacement can be
obtained. The correct fuse cover is
identified by colour and a
replacement may be obtained from
your Kenwood Authorised Repairer
(see Service).

If a non-rewireable plug is cut off it
must be DESTROYED
IMMEDIATELY. An electric shock
hazard may arise if an unwanted
non-rewireable pug is inadvertently
inserted into a 13A socket outlet.

cord or plug in water.
4 Do not use if there is any visible

interlock tabs, or to the supply

5 Do not use this appliance for other
than its intended use.
6 Do not stand power unit or blender
on hot or wet surfaces.
7 Do not allow the supply cord to
hang over the edge of a table or
worktop.
8 The use of attachments not
recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock, or injury.
9 This blender is not intended for use
by young children or infirm persons
without supervision.
10 Warning - the blades are sharp,
handle with care both in use and
when cleaning. Keep the blade unit
well out of the reach of children.
11 Keep hands and utensils out of the
goblet when blending.
12 Unplug from the power supply
when not in use, before putting on
or taking off parts, and before
cleaning.
13 Avoid contacting moving parts.
14 Always make sure the lid is secure
before the motor is switched on.
15 Ensure that the appliance is
switched off after each use and that
the motor has completely stopped
before disassembling.
16 Appliances used in a place of work
should be tested and inspected
regularly.
17 Young children should be
supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
