Maintenance
Top up hydraulic oil
Wear safety goggles
Follow correct sequence!
•
Disconnect the processing tool from the compressed air supply
•
Slacken off setscrew (No. 7)
•
Remove circlip (No.4)
•
Push back C-frame to remove pin from head module (No. 5)
•
Unscrew split bushing (No. 8) and stroke limiter (No. 6) from tool head (No. 9)
•
Unscrew oil screw plug (No. 10) and seal (No. 11) with T20 Torx screwdriver
•
Screw on and hold supplied oil refill reservoir with cover
•
Connect processing tool to compressed air supply and press trigger (No. 37); then disconnect
processing tool from compressed air supply
•
Pour used oil out of oil refill reservoir
•
Fill oil refill reservoir up to the mark with hydraulic oil
•
Carefully move the pull piston unit back and forth by hand until bubble-free oil flows out; push
back the pull piston unit as far as it will go and leave in this position
•
Unscrew oil refill reservoir and screw in oil screw plug (No. 10) with seal (No. 11)
•
Connect the processing tool to the compressed air supply
•
Carefully undo oil screw plug (No. 10) by 2 turns; the pull unit moves slowly into the front end
position. Collect leaking oil in a rag
•
Tighten oil screw plug (No. 10)
•
Reassemble in reverse order and screw all parts together.

GESIPA
Service. We recommend servicing tools that are subject to intensive use

Storage
The blind rivet setting tool should be stored in a dry place where there is no danger of frost.
