Grounding Strap
3-22
Electrical
The circulator's construction provides protection against the risk
of electrical shock by grounding appropriate metal parts. The
protection will not function unless the power cord is connected to a
properly grounded outlet. It is the user's responsibility to assure a
proper ground connection is provided.
For Sahara baths, and stand-alone immersion circulators, use the
supplied nut and washer to secure the grounding strap to the top of
the metal tank. See figure below.
The circulator is intended for use on a dedicated outlet. All circulators are
equipped with automatic thermally-triggered 20 Amp circuit protector.
The circuit protector is designed to protect the circulator.
Note If the circuit protector activates allow the circulators to cool before
resetting. Restart the circulator. Contact us if it activates again.
The circulator's power cord is used as the disconnecting device, it
must be easily accessible at all times.
Refer to the bath nameplate on the rear, upper-left-hand corner of the
bath for specific electrical requirements. Voltage deviations of ± 10%
are permissible. The outlet must be rated as suitable for the total power
consumption of the circulator, see next page.
Sahara baths, and stand-alone circulators, require immersion circulator
grounding.
and Nut
For Sahara baths, and stand-alone immersion circulators, use the
supplied nut and washer to secure the grounding strap to the top of
the metal tank.
