Using the Blower mode
Select the blow function using the selector lever on the side of the
machine and switch on. See Fig. 10.
Selector Lever
With the Blower/Vac resting on its wheels, move it forward
directing the nozzle at the debris to be cleared.
Adjust the speed with the speed controller if more power is
required.
Hold nozzle just above the ground and swing the machine from
side to side. Move forward and direct the nozzle at the debris to be
cleared. Blow the debris into a pile and then use the vacuum
function to collect the debris.
Always turn switch off and remove plug from the electrical
power supply when:
- The power cord has become damaged or entangled.
- You leave your product unattended.
- Clearing a blockage.
- Checking, adjusting, cleaning or working on your product.
If you drop the unit, carefully inspect it for damage. If the
housing is cracked or handles broken or if you see any other
condition that may affect the unit's operation, call our customer
service help line at 1-800-618-7474 for assistance.
WARNING: Do not at any time let fluids, gasoline, petroleum
based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact with
plastic parts. They contain chemicals that can damage, weaken
or destroy plastic. Never let any liquid get inside the tool; never
immerse any part of the tool into a liquid. Use only dry cloth to
clean the product.
IMPORTANT: To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY,
repairs, maintenance and adjustment should be performed by a
qualified individual using only identical replacement parts.
Storing the Blower/Vac
Always store the product in a dry place ensuring the cable is not
likely to be damaged on sharp edges etc..
Fertilizers and other garden chemicals contain agents which
greatly accelerate the corrosion of metals Do not store the tool
on or adjacent to fertilizers or chemicals.
Clean out debris which may have accumulated in the product.
When used properly with dry leaves, the fan chamber of your
product should remain clean. If damp earth and debris are
ingested, some of the particles may build up on the inside of the
fan chamber. If this happens, the performance of the product
will decrease. This area can be cleaned out by following the
steps listed in clearing debris after disconnecting the unit from
the power supply.
OPERATING
Using the Vacuum mode
Inspect the area to be worked before starting. Remove any objects or
debris that could be thrown, jammed or become entangled in the
Blower/Vac. Select the vacuum function using the selector lever on
the side of the machine and switch on. See Fig. 10.
With the Blower/Vac resting on its wheels, move the Blower/Vac
forwards directing the nozzle at the debris to be collected. With the
Blower/Vac held just above the ground, swing the machine from side
to side, move forwards and direct the nozzle at the debris to be
collected. Do not force the nozzle into the debris, as this will block the
vacuum tube and reduce the efficiency of the machine.
Adjust the speed with the speed controller if more power is required.
Organic materials such as leaves contain a large amount of water
that can cause them to stick to the inside of the vacuum tube. To
reduce sticking, the material should be left for a few days to dry out
before vacuuming.

WARNING: Never allow cloth, plywood or large object to be
vacuumed into the unit, as this will clog the tube and will damage the
motor. Do not vacuum metal, rocks or gravel. This will damage the
mulching blade.
WARNING:Turn off power when switching between blower mode
and vac mode.
Rake function
The integrated rake will help to loosen debris between gravel.
Use the blower vac only in daylight or good artificial light.
