Setting up your CD player

Power supply

To install the batteries (not supplied):
1 Open the battery compartment cover.
2 Insert two "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries. Match the battery
polarities (+ and -) with those in the diagram inside the battery
compartment.
3 Replace the cover.
Note For battery operation, the AC adapter lead must be disconnected
from the DC input jack.
