assembling the base
□
line up the cam lock dowels in the base (B) and insert them
into the holes of side panels (d and e) and interior panels (F
&G) . it is better to start from one side and insert into one panel
at time . insert into panel (d), then panel (F), then panel (G), then
finally panel (e) .
□
Push the eight base (B) until flush with panels (d, e, F & G) .
insert and tighten eight cam locks (BB) by turning clockwise . do
not strip the cam locks by over tightening .
□
once the shelf assembly has been attached to the base, stand it
upright on its feet .

attaching the top
□
With a partner, line up the wood dowels (BB) in the top support
(J) with the two non-threaded holes in the fixed shelf (C) .
□
lift the top (a) into position and line up the four cam lock
dowels (aa) on the underside of the top (a) with the holes in the
top of the left and right side panels (d & G) . line up the wood
dowels (BB) in the top support (J) with the non-threaded holes
in the bottom of the top (a) .
□
lower the top (a) down until flush with the panels (d, G & J) .
insert and tighten four cam locks (BB) . do not strip the cam
locks by over tightening .

attaching the back panels
□
locate the upper back panel (n) .
□
line up the upper back panel (n) with the recessed top edge
and fasten to the assembled cabinet using 20 small screws (JJ) .
Make sure the finished side of the panel faces in towards the
mantle .
□
locate the two back panels (o) .
□
line up the back panels (o) with the upper back panel (n) and
fasten to the assembled cabinet using ten small screws (JJ) for
each panel . Make sure the finished side of the panel faces in
towards the mantle .
