Preparing the SpaLet
Use the following procedure to drain the water and disconnect the power if the following circumstances are applicable.
● The SpaLet seat will not be used for an extended period of time due to travel. Not using the SpaLet for a long time
may cause water to become contaminated. This contaminant could deposit on the SpaLet seat.
● The SpaLet seat will not be used for an extended period of time due to being in a vacation home. As temperatures
drop in unoccupied houses during the course of seasons, water could freeze during times of cold temperatures.
Draining Water

Close the water shut-off valve to shut off

the water supply.
* If the open/close knob is difficult to turn, grasp it
with a dry cloth and turn.
Turn clockwise

Manipulate the flush lever in the Flush

Full direction to drain the water inside the
toilet tank.

Drain the water from the water supply

side.
Place a basin or similar beneath the strainer.
Remove the strainer, rinse away dirt that has at-
tached to the strainer and O-ring, and then com-
pletely remove the part.

[CAUTION]
● When removing the strainer, make sure not to dam-
age the water supply hose.
Insert the power plug into an outlet.

Press and hold both the [Massage] and
[Nozzle Cleaning] buttons for at least 2 seconds.
* Remaining water in the toilet body will drain over
a 15-second period.
[Massage] + [Nozzle Cleaning]
Disconnect the power plug from the outlet.
After the water has been drained, securely reattach
the strainer.
Tighten until the end surface
of the strainer is flush with
the socket end surface.

Check for leaks from the water shut-off

valve.
