How to Build the Bath Tub:
Free Play
In free unstructured play, your child becomes familiar with the game materials. Together, look
at all the illustrations. Talk about what you see on the tiles and what is lying around the bath-
tub, and what the objects are called. Lay the tiles next to the bathtub with the symbols facing
up, and show your child that the same colors and symbols are also on the die. Together with
your child, practice rolling the die, and let your child find the tile that matches the rolled die
and put it into the bathtub. This will help your child become familiar with colors and symbols.
