9. Adjusting the handlebar to the correct height
– figures 14-15
To adjust the handlebar (1) to the correct height, use your
thumbs to press down the silver height adjusting buttons (2)
on the inside of the handlebar and pull or push the bar to
the required height.
10. Unfolding the cot – figures 16-24
a. P ull one of the spring clips towards the head end and
pull the other strap towards the foot end. The cot is
now unfolded and taut.
b. A ttach the sun hood (22) by sliding the black hood
clamps (19) at the ends of the sun hood frame (19)
into the connectors on the cot frame (23).
c. Z ip the sun hood fabric to the head end of the cot to
secure it.
d. P lace the special hypoallergenic breatable mattress in
the cot with the smooth side facing down.
e. A ttaching the safety bar (carrying handle) (17).
Push the safety bar into the appropriate slots on either
side of the cot frame until they click into place.
To easily lift your child in and out of the seat detach
the safety bar on one side and turn it out of the way.
f. P erform these actions in reverse order (e to a) to
collapse the cot.

11. Placing the cot on the chassis – figures 25-26
There is only one way to place the cot to the chassis (5).
Place the cot so that you look into it when standing behind
the handlebar. Slide the cot into the connectors (8) until
you hear a click.
Handy tip: Y ou can also use the cot without the chassis.
Remove the cot from the chassis and place it
on a level, firm and dry surface. Inspect the
safety bar (carrying handle) and underside
of the cot regularly for any signs of any wear
and tear.
12. Placing the seat on the chassis – figures 27-28
Slide the seat into the connectors (8) on the chassis and
push until you hear a click.
13. Seat – figures 29-35
a. F ix the seat cushion using the velcro strips.
b. F asten the seat fabric by zipping it closed from right
to left.
c. T hen attach it to the footrest by zipping the bottom
of the fabric to the footrest from right to left.
d. A ttach the sun hood. See 6b and c.
e. A ttach the safety bar (carrying handle). See 6e.
14. Seat position – figure 35
The seat can be adjusted to a sitting, semi-upright or
reclining position. Change the position by pressing the
round positions buttons (6) on either side at the same time
and adjust the seat to the required position.
15. Seat direction – figures 37-38
The seat can face either direction. Alter the position by
simultaneously pushing in the unlock buttons (7) on the
connector and lifting up the seat. Turn the seat around
and click it back onto the chassis.
16. Footrest – figures 39
Stand in front of the pushchair. Press the clips (15) on
either side of the adjustable footrest (14) and slide the
footrest downwards. Pull the footrest until it reaches the
desired position. There are three different positions.
Push the footrest to return it to its previous position.
17. Using the restraint system – figures 40-46
The Joolz Day is provided with a restraint system (18).
Always use the restraint system when your child is sitting
in the seat.
a. P lace your child in the seat. Pull the crotch belt
between your child's legs. Raise the base of the seat to
adjust the length of the crotch belt.
b. A djust the length of the shoulder straps to your
child's height by adjusting the loops beneath the two
shoulder pads.
c. A djust the height of the shoulder straps to your child's
height by pulling the belts through the openings of
the seat fabric. Ensure the straps are correctly engaged
before use.
d. H old the crotch strap in the middle and insert the
clips on the shoulder straps into the slots on the sides
until they click into place.
e. R elease the restraint system by pushing the clips on
the shoulder straps and pulling them out.
Note: B oth the seat and the cot are fitted with extra
D-shaped rings that can be used to attach an extra
restraint system. These rings are attached to the
base of the cot, and on either side of the seat.
18. Folding up and storage – figures 47-54
Folding is just as easy as unfolding. You can fold up the
Joolz Day with or without the seat (seat facing away from
you).
a. A pply the brake (9) (and if desired remove the cot
or seat).
b. L ock the front wheels (13).
c. R eturn the footrest (14) to its original position.
