Donning and use of the hood
• Tear open the sealed bag to remove the hood by opening the pouch (Fig. 1).
• Slip the hood over the head whilst holding the filter in one hand in order to position the interior mask.
• The elastic strap allows the interior mask to fit automatically into place (Fig. 2)
• Leave the contaminated area as quickly as possible, without hurrying and breathing normally.
• Before each entrance in the risk area, check the transport bag for damages and seal's presence.
• Check that no hairs are caught between the face and the inner mask. The seal of the filtering escape device is also affected by size and facial structure of
the user, e.g. beard hair, deep scars, sideburns, etc.
• Breathe slowly and regularly.
• Do not remove the filtering escape device before leaving the contaminated area.
• When removing the hood, take all necessary precautions to avoid inhaling the dust or contaminant retained on the external surface of the filtering escape
device.
• After use, it is mandatory to replace the filter and recondition the hood in an airtight seal aluminium bag.
• Don't use the hood if the airtightness is not achieved. See maintenance instructions.
• Never alter or modify the hood.
After use
• Take off the OPENGO.
• Clean the mask
