B.
Mounting.
The Model FB24STHI strobes are designed for hearing impaired applications,
which require a minimum 24" (610 mm) spacing to ceiling level. It is recommended that the
strobe be mounted in the center of the room with the lens pointing down. As an alternative,
the strobe may be mounted on any wall in the room as long as it is placed at least 24" (610
mm) below the ceiling with the lens pointing away from the wall. Any deviation from this
requirement may result in diminished effectiveness of the strobe. Alternate installation
locations or orientations should only be performed with the approval of the authority having
jurisdiction. Reference Figure 1 for the light dispersion pattern of the FB24STHI.

Pipe Mounting.
The Model FB2PST can be mounted on 1/2-inch or 20 mm pipe. If metric
threads are provided the enclosure bottom will be identified with a "M20" marking.
Mounting hardware and installation details are left to the installer.
To prevent the connection from loosening, tighten the fixture to a MINIMUM
torque of
5 ft.-lbs. (6.8 N m) after threading it onto the pipe.

Electrical Connections.
To avoid electrical shock hazards, do not connect wires when power is applied.
The operating voltage range limits are 16-33VDC.
This product was only tested to its rated operating voltage range. It was not tested
to 80% and 110% of these limits.
The DC units are polarity sensitive, and MAY BE DAMAGED by incorrect
electrical hookup.
When connecting the DC strobe unit to the voltage supply lines, POLARITY MUST
BE OBSERVED.
In addition, damage will result if the voltage rating of the model is exceeded.
