5.1 Operating conditions

The temperature of the water circulating in the exchanger must be between 2°C and 40°C.
Before switching the device on, you need to make sure:
• the hydraulic fittings are correctly tightened,
• there is no leak,
• the appliance is correctly fixed to the wall,
• the connections of the electric cables are correctly tightened,
Incorrectly tightened cables may cause overheating of terminals,
• the appliance is correctly connected to the Earth,
• the water contained in the appliance is not frozen,
In this case, it is interdict to put the heater under operation.
5.2 Starting-up
• switch on the filtration pump,
• check the degassing and water circulation in the heater,
• engage the protective 30 mA differential circuit breaker associated with the heater (or the fused
isolating switch with upstream a 30 mA differential circuit breaker),
• set the switch to the "on" position,
• adjust the control thermostat to the desired temperature.
Marks * to 6: * = 16°C ; 1 = 20°C ; 2 = 24°C ; 3 = 28°C ; 4 = 32°C ; 5 = 36°C ; 6 = 40°C
Note: the indicator of heating of orange color indicates that the device is heating the basin.

5.3 Checking

Make sure that the heater stops when:
• decreasing the required temperature on the control display (notice: when the temperature of the
water is below 16°C, the heater will always be operating, although it is set to "*"),
• filtration is switched off,
