Gas detector installation instructions
If you use the PNI Safe House Dual Gas 250 gas detector to identify natural
gas or gaseous hydrocarbons, position it at a height of 0.3 - 1.0 m from the
ceiling, to a distance of max. 1.5 m of combustion source (stove, for example).
If you use the PNI Safe House Dual Gas 250 gas detector to identify the
presence of carbon monoxide (CO), it is recommended to install a detector
in each room you live in (living room, bedrooms, etc.).
When choosing the detector installation location, make sure you can hear
the audible alarm. If you install a single CO detector in the house, install it as
close as possible to the bedroom and not in the room where the heating boiler
is installed.
Solenoid valve installation instructions
The solenoid valve must be installed only by qualified personnel.
The solenoid valve must be installed after the main internal gas valve.
The solenoid valve must be installed in the direction of the gas flow,
marked on the solenoid valve. The valve must not be mounted face down.
The solenoid valve can be installed horizontally or vertically.
The solenoid valve's control wires must be connected correctly. The white
thread is positive and the black thread is negative. Making an incorrect
connection can lead to short circuit.
Reverse polarity and incorrect voltage can damage the solenoid coil of
the solenoid valve.
During maintenance work on the gas pipe, such as cleaning the pressure
pipe, the solenoid valve must be removed to avoid damage.
During pressure tests, the solenoid valve must be opened.
It is recommended to install the solenoid valve together with the gas
detector in the package.
