This harness with an integrated positioning belt
complies with standards EN361, EN358.
This fall arrest harness is certified as complying with
standard EN361:2002:
Static tests
o Dorsal attachment point:
Force of 15kN exerted between the attachment
element and the dummy's lower ring for 3 minutes.
Force of 10kN exerted between the attachment
element and the dummy's lower ring for 3 minutes.
o Chest attachment points:
Force of 15kN exerted between the attachment
element and the dummy's lower ring for 3 minutes.
Force of 10kN exerted between the attachment
element and the dummy's lower ring for 3 minutes.
Dynamic tests
o Dorsal and chest attachment points: Resistance to
two consecutive falls of 4 meters using a dummy
weighing 100 kg and 140 kg under the conditions
required by the standard in the two accepted
attachment modes.
The lateral attachment points of this harness' positio-
ning belt are certified as compliant with the require-
ment of standard EN358 1999:
Static tests
o Lateral attachment points: Force of 15kN exerted
between the belt's attachment point and the
cylinder for 3 minutes without the positioning belt
releasing the cylinder.
Dynamic tests
o Lateral attachment points:
Resistance to a fall of 1 m with a dummy weighing
100 kg and 140 kg under the conditions stipulated
by the standard.
1-7 COMPLIANCE WITH STANDARDS
This equipment has undergone a standard inspection
according to standards EN361, EN358 with a notified
body, (cf. p.121), which issued an EC certificate
confirming that all equipment produced and the
corresponding instructions comply with Directive
89/686/EEC.
1-8 LIMITATIONS AND CAPABILITIES
If there is a risk of falling, only a fall arrest harness that
complies with standard EN361 is authorized for use
as a body prehension device in a fall arrest system. It
is imperative that this harness be complemented by
a collective or individual protection device against
falls from height (fall arrest system complying with
standard EN363).
The fall arrest harness may be connected to a fall arrest
system only at its dorsal point or chest points. The
lateral points of the positioning belt shall in no case
be used for attaching a fall arrest system. These points

only allow a work positioning system to be connected.
Never use this harness for load carrying.
If the harness has suffered a fall, it must be withdrawn
from the field.
1-9 TRAINING
Activities at height are dangerous and can cause
serious accidents and injuries. We remind you that
you are personally liable in the case of an accident,
injury or fatality to either yourself or a third party
during or following the use of one of our products.
The use of our products is reserved to authorized
persons who have gone through the proper trai-
ning or who are operating under the supervision
and instruction of an authorized superior.
Ensure that you have been adequately trained in
the use of this PPE and make sure that you fully
understand how it works. If there is any doubt, do
not take any risks but rather seek advice. Good
physical condition is required in order to carry out
work at height. Certain medical contraindications
can threaten the user's safety (taking medications,
cardiovascular problems, etc.) during normal use
of the PPE and in emergencies. In any case of
doubt, consult your physician.
The product must not be used by persons wei-
ghing more than 140 kilograms Clothing and
equipment included..
2 - PRIOR USE INFORMATION
Whenever possible, it is strongly recommended that
this equipment is personally assigned to a single user.
2-1 TRANSPORTATION, STORAGE AND
PACKAGING
Store away from sources of heat. Store the harness
away from humidity and ultraviolet light,
Avoid any atmosphere that is corrosive or excessively
hot or refrigerated.
During transport, check that your PPE is stored
well away from any source of heat, damp, corrosive
atmosphere, ultraviolet rays, etc. ... This harness is sold
in rot proof and waterproof plastic packaging, with its
instructions for use.

2-3 CHECKING
Before each use, carry out a thorough visual
examination to ensure that the PPE, as well as
any other equipment that may be attached to it
(connector, lanyard, etc.) is complete. Make all
