ERROR CODES

Error codes appear when there is a problem with the camera.
Error codes displayed on the control panel will flash.

CARD The card cover is
COVER open.
OPEN
NO CARD The card is not
inserted, or it
cannot be
recognized.
CARD FULL No more pictures
can be taken.
WRITE Writing to the card
PROTECT is prohibited.
CARD Cannot record, play
ERROR back or erase
pictures in this
card.
PICTURE The recorded
ERROR image cannot be
played back with
this camera.
(Format The card is not
confirmation formatted.

Remedy
Insert a card and close the
cover.
Insert a card. Or insert the
card again.
Replace the card or erase
unneeded pictures.
If you are taking pictures,
remove the write-protect
adhesive seal.
If the card is dirty, wipe it
with a clean tissue and
insert it again. Or, format
the card. If the problem is
still not corrected, this card
cannot be used.
Load the image using
personal computer image
processing software. If that
cannot be done, the image
file is partially damaged.
Format the card.
