Pick up the tip at the sharp end and place it sideways into the A

814 and A 814/1 holders.
Turn the screw cap of the holders clockwise as far as they will go.

The tip is then encapsulated in the holder.
Turn the screw cap anti-clockwise as far as it will go at the grip end

of the A 814 and A 814/1 holders.
Take hold of the tip at the sharp end and remove it sideways from

the holders.
Perform a visual inspection to check the cleanliness of the tip.

After reprocessing, dry the tip – and the cooling channel in particu-

lar – with sterilised compressed air, then sterilise it following the
manufacturer's instructions. Observe national health and safety reg-
ulations.
