Configuration

Midland H5 can function as a sport camera, car cam-
era, photo camera or player. To select the desired op-
tion, after turning the camera ON, repeatedly press
the Shutter/Select button to cycle through modes.
They will appear in the following order: Video/Car/
Photo/Playback.
At the top of your screen various icons will show to
indicate the selected settings. From left to right, they
indicate the following:
• Selected Mode (camera/car/photo).
• Quality (Video/car).
• Resolution (FHD/HD video & car ; 5/8/10/12MP photo).
• Recording time remaining in card (video/car) or
remaining photos.
At the bottom of the screen the battery charge indi-
cator icon is displayed.
To enter the settings menu use the Down/Playback
button.
The video/car/photo menu screen will show de-
pending on the chosen mode.
