SYMPTOM
BIO-SYSTEM TANK
Water will not flow into the Bio-
System Tank.
TRANSFER PUMP
Transfer Pump will not run.
Transfer Pump runs but there is no
water discharge OR Transfer Pump
cycles excessively.
Transfer Pump is hot or turns off.

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBABLE CAUSE
Sump Pump is not turned on.
Circuit breaker has tripped or is "OFF". Reset or turn breaker "ON".
Dirt is lodged in the inlet check valve.
Sump Pump impeller is clogged.
Lines or valves contain frozen water.
Freshwater Make-up solenoid
malfunctioning.
Freshwater Make-up Float #4
in Product Tank tangled or
malfunctioning.
Circuit overload/breaker has tripped.
Motor overload.
Transfer Pump Float #3
tangled or malfunctioning.
Pressure Switch malfunctioning.
Pump sucking air.
Check valve is leaking or stuck in
closed position.
Lines or valves contain frozen water.
Pump impeller is obstructed.
Pump motor is operating below
maximum RPM.
Too much pressure in Pressure
Tank.
Pressure Switch needs adjusting.
Low voltage.
Motor overload.
REMEDY
Move Sump Pump Switch to "ON"
Clean.
Disconnect power and clean.
Allow to thaw. Inject with warm
water if necessary.
Repair or replace.
Repair or replace.
Reset breaker or replace fuse.
Allow motor to cool. Motor will
automatically restart when cool.
Repair or replace.
Replace.
Eliminate leaks and tighten all
connections on intake line.
Clean or replace as necessary.
Allow to thaw. Inject with warm
water if necessary. Ensure the
Sump Pit remains above
freezing.

Contact your local distributor.
Check PSI in Pressure Tank
with no water in tank. Pressure
should be 18 PSI / 1.24 Bar.
Pressure Switch should be set
to start Transfer Pump at 20 PSI /
1.4 Bar.
Ensure wire size is capable of
handling the rated amperage of the
unit. If wire size is correct, contact
your local distributor.
Allow motor to cool. Motor will
automatically restart when cool.
