DANGER: Never connect the generator set ear-
thing wire to piping. In addition, the piping is
carrying flammable substances such as gas or
fuel oil, there is always a risk of a fire or explosion
in the event of a short-circuit.
RECEIPT AND HANDLING :
On receipt of your generator set, check that the equipment
is in good condition and that your order is complete. The
generator should be handled with care and no sudden
movements, after preparing the area for its storage or use
in advance.
Never try to start the generator before carrying
out the preparation as described in section 2 of
the manual
EARTHING
Earth the generator set each time it is used to prevent elec-
trocution. For this purpose, use a 10 mm2 copper wire atta-
ched to the generator's earth connector and a galvanised
steel earth rod inserted 1 metre into the ground (equipment
not supplied with generator set). This earthing also dissipa-
tes the static electricity generated by electrical machinery.

ASSEMBLY AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
PREPARATION FOR COMMISSIONING (BEFORE START-UP)
Pre-operation checks should be made each time
the generator is used. The engine and mufler will
be very hot after the engine has been run. Avoid
touching the engine and muffler while are still
hot with any part of your body or clothing during
inspection or repair.
FILLING THE FUEL TANK
Make sure there is sufficient fuel in the tank.
Only use a 2-stroke mixture as fuel. Unleaded petrol mixed
with 2-stroke oil according a ratio of 50:1 (2%).Total tank
capacity: 4,0 L
Fuel mixing procedure
1- Prepare the quantity of petrol that you want to add and
pour it into the fuel tank.
2- Then use the fuel tank cap to measure the specified quan-
tity of oil. Add it into the fuel tank
3- Shake the fuel tank to mix the oil and the tank, before
starting the motor.
DO NOT FILL the fuel tank to overflowing level.
Leave a gap of approximately 5 mm at the top of
the tank to allow the fuel fumes to expand.
AVOID STARTING THE MOTOR OR FILLING WITH
FUEL when the spark plug cover has been remo-
ved.
LOCATION FOR USE
Place the generator set on a horizontal, plane surface, which
is sufficiently resistant so that the generator does not sink.
- The angle of the generator, in each direction, must never
exceed 10° or 13%.
-Choose a clean, well-ventilated place, sheltered from adver-
se weather conditions. -Provide for oil and petrol supplies
in the vicinity of the point of use of the generator, while
observing a certain safety distance.
-Provide good ventilation if using inside a building (even in
the event of exceptional use).
-Install the generator set in an area that is not liable to obs-
truct the passage of people or animals.
