C) Fixing the work platform
Place the work platform onto the ladder rungs and
secure using both clip sets (max. 9th rung from the
bottom). Then setup the multipurpose scaffolding.
WARNING
Danger of severe injuries!
All braces must be secured on the ladder frame
in the intended position against unintentional
removal using securing hooks [X].
6.5
Disassembly
Disassembly of the scaffolding must be carried out
in the reverse order.
Note: the securing hooks (see fig. X) secure the
braces to the ladder frame after assembly.
Before removing the railing braces, swivel each of
the horizontal and diagonal braces of the securing
hooks away from the ladder frame.
NOTE
Caution, damage!
Do not mount or remove the components using
force, e.g. knocking with a hammer.
6.6
Use of the scaffolding
(See illustrations on page 126 + 127)
Diverse photos illustrate the use and operation of
the scaffolding in the different situations.
7. Transport and storage
NOTE
Caution, damage!
Incorrect handling of the scaffolding when trans-
porting and storage may lead to damage to the
scaffolding.
• Securely fold the ladder frames together before
and after use as well as for storage and trans-
port; all safety joints must be engaged.
• In order to avoid any damage, the scaffolding
should be securely fastened (e.g., on roof carri-
ers or in the car).
• The scaffolding should be stored in accordance
with the producer's instructions.
• Store the scaffolding away from areas where its
condition could deteriorate more rapidly (e.g.
dampness, excessive heat, or exposed to the
elements).
• Store the scaffolding in a position which helps
it to remain straight (e.g. hung by the stiles on
proper ladder brackets or laid on a flat clutter
free surface).
• The storage of the scaffolding should take place
disassembled and folded together standing
upright or laying flat in a dry environment.
• Store the scaffolding where it cannot be damaged
by vehicles, heavy objects, or contaminants?
• Store the scaffolding where it cannot cause a
trip hazard or an obstruction?
• Store the scaffolding in such a way that it is
protected from children at play and no person
can be disabled by it.
• Store the scaffolding securely where it cannot be
easily used for criminal purposes.
• If the scaffolding is permanently positioned,
make sure it is secured against unauthorized
climbing (e.g. by children).
