Once the entire time has passed, the measurement is shown as a
curve on the display.
Note: If the PURGE START: AUTO setting has been activated in
the Sipper options menu, the rinse agent is sucked in automatically
once the measurement process is complete.

Cleaning
N O T I C E
There may always be residual fluid in the tubes. Always wear suitable protective
clothing and goggles to change the tubes or perform maintenance work in order to
prevent contact with the skin or eyes.
SIP 10 Module
Clean the SIP 10 module using a damp cloth. Do not use any type of
solvent (for example, acetone).
Pour-Thru Cell
Purge the Pour-Thru Cell before and after every series of tests with
deionized water.
If the Pour-Thru Cell is heavily contaminated, repeat the purge cycle
several times.
English 10
Before the Pour-Thru Cell is put into storage, perform the purge cycle
several times with air to remove any residual fluid. Hold the Pour-Thru
Cell with the OUT connection slanted downwards during this procedure.
Check the Pour-Thru Cell viewing window. If it is dirty or fogged up,
place the Pour-Thru Cell in a soap solution or in dilute acid. Then rinse
the Pour-Thru Cell thoroughly with deionized water.
Tube Cleaning
Clean the tubes with deionized water after every series of
measurements.
The tubes are exposed to chemicals and must be replaced periodically.
Pump Tubing Replacement
The pump tubing is exposed to mechanical loads and chemicals and
must be replaced periodically.
1.
Perform the purge cycle several times with air to remove any
residual fluid from the system.
2.
Disconnect the USB cable fromthe photometer.
3.
Remove the connection tube and discharge tube from the input and
output connections on the peristaltic pump.
4.
Tilt back the lever behind the peristaltic pump
The peristaltic pump cover will move back.
5.
Lift up the peristaltic pump cover
the cover, pump tubing and connections.
6.
Position the new cover with pre-assembled pump tubing and
connections on the peristaltic pump.
7.
Push down the cover on the peristaltic pump and tilt up the lever
behind the peristaltic pump
The peristaltic pump cover will move forward.
8.
Connect the connection tube and the discharge tube to the input
and output connections on the peristaltic pump.
9.
Connect the SIP 10 USB cable to a USB port on the photometer.
