Emptying the waste container
&
Note: Never try to open the motor/seperator unit (16)
when the motors are running.
When the suction power stops or is reduced, this indicates
that the container is full or the filter is blocked.
Switch off the motors (1) and lock the lever on the wheels (10)
by pressing them downwards. To release the motor/separator
(16) from the waste container (6), unlock the latch (8) and tilt-
up the motor/separator (16).
Remove the waste container (6) either by hand or by the use
of a special tool for crane or fork-lift to empty out its contents.
To fit the waste container (6) in place after emptying, replace it
on the trolley (7). Make sure the container bottom is covering
the recess marked C and with the handles positioned as
marked D. Tilt back the motor/separator (16) over the waste
container (6) by the handle and lock the latch marked (8) to
the waste container (6).
Disengage the wheel lock (10) by pushing the small lever arm
on top.
Note: Observe correct operator protection in accordance
to regulations against material kept in the filter or the bin.
* Replacing the filter cartridge G
Switch off the motors (1) and lock the lever on the wheels (10)
by pressing them downwards. To release the motor/separator
(16) from the waste container (6), unlock the latch (8) and tilt-
up the motor/separator (16).
Release the cover E and unscrew the Hand wheel F1 by hand
and remove with washer F2, gasket F3 and filter G. Clean the
filter recess H inside the motor/separator (16). Refit in a
reverse order. Press the cover E back in place.
Tilt down the motor head and make sure the latch marked (8)
is locked to the waste container (6).
The frequency of changing the filter depends on the
application.
Note: Observe correct operator protection in accordance
to regulations against material kept in the filter or the bin.
( Filter regenerating with the filter in place
To maintain full suction efficiency, the filter must be
regenerated every day as described on the filter shaker
instruction (9) on one of the first pages or as described here:

To stop the motors press each of the buttons (1)

Dismantling the hose coupling from the inlet: Turn it
counter-clockwise.

Start the motors.

Pull/Push the horizontal regenerating flap (17) five times.

Install the hose into the inlet by turning the coupling
clockwise.

Empty the waste container (6) as described under í
) Dust bag replacement
Only for models where the inlet (4A) is placed on the
waste container (6).
To prolong the life-time of the filter and make disposal of the
debris cleaner we recommend the use of dust bags.
Switch off the motors (1) and lock the lever on the wheels (10)
by pressing them downwards. To release the motor/separator
(16) from the waste container (6), unlock the latch (8) and tilt-
up the motor/separator (16) and remove the waste container
(6) from the trolley (7). Pull the bag plate free of the inlet tube
(4A), lock the hole with the plug, lift away and dispose of the
dust bag. Unfold the new dust bag and push the plastic plate
on the inlet tube until it stops. Replace the waste container (6)
on the trolley (7). Make sure the container bottom covers the
recess marked C and with the handles positioned as marked
D. Tilt back the motor/separator (16) over the waste container
(6) by the handle and lock the latch marked (8) to the waste
container (6).

Parking
Lock the lever on the front wheels (10) by pressing them
downwards.
Disconnect the plug from the socket outlet and wind-up the
cord and fix the cord hanger (13) with the cord (3) to the
handle.
Tools and accessories can be stored onboard in the tool
holder marked (11).
The accessory holder on the machine allows accessories to
be carried conveniently whilst cleaning takes place.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

Always keep the suction cleaner in a dry place.
Depending on the number of running hours the filter should be
inspected and if necessary regenerated or replaced.
Service must only be carried out when the machine is at
standstill and disconnected from the electricity supply. Never
carry out service or repairs without having first received the
necessary authorisation.

FAULT FINDING

the motor will not start
no power
a fuse may have blown and needs replacing.
the cord or the wall socket may be defective and need

automatically start again.

the thermal cut-out has switched off the motors as a
result of an obstruction of the hose, tube or nozzle.
Remove the cause of the obstruction.
when the motor is cool, it will automatically start again.
the suction power is reduced
the filter may be clogged and needs regenerating
the container may be full and needs emptying.
the hose, tube or nozzle may be blocked and needs to be
cleared.
