How to Use

This appliance is intended for household use only.
GETTING STARTED
• Remove any labels, stickers or tags attached to the body or soleplate of the iron.
• Please go to www.prodprotect.com/applica to register your warranty.
Note: Use ordinary tap water for ironing. do not use water processed through a home
softening system.
Important: for optimum performance, let the iron stand for 90 seconds before
beginning to iron.
Tip: If unsure of a garment's fiber, test a small area (on an inside seam or hem) before
ironing.
fILLING WATER TANK
1. open the water-fill cover (A).

2. Tilt the iron and using a clean measuring cup, pour water into
opening until the water reaches the MAX level mark on the
water tank (b). do not overfill.
3. Close the water-fill cover.

4. Plug in the iron. A solid red light comes on and stays on until
the set temperature is reach. once the set temperature is
reached, the light turns solid green (C).
Note: If you need to add water while ironing, unplug the iron and
follow above steps.

SPECIAL fEATURES
Automatic Shutoff in 3 Positions
• Your iron will automatically turn off after 30 seconds of
inactivity if left on its soleplate or on its side. If left vertically on
its heel rest, it will turn off after 8 minutes (D).
30 seconds
• The unit beeps five times and there is a flashing red light to
indicate the iron is in the automatic shutoff position.
8 minutes
• once you pick up the iron, the light will turn solid green again

once the set temperature is reached. If the iron is not fully
heated, a solid red light will appear; once the iron is ready, the
light will turn solid green.
Note: Wait for iron to reheat completely before resuming operation.
Anti-Drip System
The anti-drip system prevents water spotting at low temperatures.
