The threaded joints on the pendant mount should be well lubricated. If
corrosive products have accumulated on the explosion-proof joints and
cannot readily be removed with solvents, the parts should be discarded
and replaced.

Ordering Accessories and Replacement Parts

EXPLOSION HAZARD–Damaged domes can lead to explosions
that could result in serious injury or death. If the dome is
damaged, it MUST be replaced.
Typical spare parts are listed in Table 2. Due to certification, certain
component parts are not available for field replacement. Units with
this type of damage must be either replaced entirely or returned to
Federal Signal for service.
