About the Emergency Hammer
The emergency hammer is designed to be used in the event of a car accident in which the seat belt
cannot be unfastened and/or the windows or doors cannot be opened.
Operation
The emergency hammer is designed to help you shatter
Target Area
the side windows of a car and escape. To break any side
window as easy as possible, you must aim for the lower
right corner of the window (see diagram).
WARNING: When the hammer is used to break the
window, it will cause the glass to shatter into a lot of
very small pieces. Use with caution and only in case
of an emergency.
The seat belt cutter has been embedded into the handle to prevent accidental use. To use the seat
belt cutter, slide the seat belt into the notch of the emergency hammer and pull.
The emergency hammer has a built-in torch located on the side of the unit. To turn the torch ON,
press and release the ON/OFF switch. To turn the torch OFF, press and release the ON/OFF switch
again.
The mounting bracket enables you to conveniently mount the emergency hammer. Place the
mounting bracket where the emergency hammer can be easily grabbed by the driver or passenger.

The emergency hammer requires 2 "AAA" batteries for
use of the torch. To insert new batteries, use a Phillips
screwdriver to remove the small screw (A). Then insert
2 new "AAA" batteries according to the position shown in
the diagram (B).
