Assembly of the Base & Stand
NOTE: All parts and hardware required for assembly
are located in the black weight bag in the storage
cabinet on the side of the machine.
NOTE: The base and stand assembly will take 10-20
minutes if you follow the instructions provided.
1. Aligning one side beam at a time, slide the
side beams (i, j, k, l) into the triangular channel
located at each corner of the base (FIGURE 1).
Ensure the hole in the side beam is aligned
with the hole in the base. Fasten one #1 screw
into each side beam to secure the side beam
to the base. Repeat this step for the other 3
corners, total 8 screws (FIGURE 2).
2. To build the structural frame, the top support
(f) will fit on top of the side beams (i, j, k, l).
To ensure the top support is correctly aligned
with the base, the threaded holes on the top
support (h) need to be towards the front of the
machine (FIGURE 3). The side beams
(i, j, k, l) will fit inside the triangular channels
in each corner of the top support. Fasten one
#1 screw through the top support into each
side beam to secure the top support to the
structural frame of the stand. Repeat this
step for the other 3 corners, total 8 screws
(FIGURE 4).
NOTE: The wheels on the base should be
positioned to the back of the machine and
the adjustable feet should be positioned
to the front.
3. With the structural frame completed, fill the
weight bag provided (can accommodate up
to 9kg). Place the weight bag in the base (g).
CAUTION: this base requires a minimum of
9kg/20lbs of weight to counterbalance the
heavier main unit when it is fully assembled.
NOTE: if you do not have sand, you may
fill the bag with other material of the
equivalent weight (for example, bricks or
rocks) (FIGURE 5).
