Safety precautions
1.1 General safety precautions
Reading the manual entirely is recommended before using the mini VISIOVAL inspection camera.
WARNING! Be sure to read all the instructions. Non-observance of all the following
instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or severe injury. The term "power tools" in
all the warnings stated hereafter refers to hand power tools connected to mains and to battery
operated tools (cordless).
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
1) Work area
a) Ensure that the work area is kept clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas can provoke
accidents.
b) Do not use power tools in an explosive environment, i.e. in the presence of inflammable
liquids, gases or dust. Power tools produce sparks which could ignite dust or vapors.
c) Do not expose to corrosive chemicals.
d) Keep children and bystanders at a safe distance when using a power tool. Being
distracted might result in losing control, potentially causing accidents.
2) Electrical safety
a) The tools' power plugs must be suited to the electrical outlet. Never modify the power
plug in any way. Do not use an adapter with power tools which are electrically grounded.
Non modified power plugs and an appropriate electrical outlet reduce the risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with any grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, stoves and
refrigerators. The risk of electric shock is higher if your body is grounded.
c) Do not expose tools to rain or wet conditions. Water or wet conditions increases the risk of
electric shock.
d) The power cord must always be in good condition. Never use the power cord to carry,
pull or unplug a power tool. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts. Damaged or tangled power cords increase the risk of electric shock.
