Risk from electrical current!
In case of improper installation, the device can be dangerous and cause injury. Before installation, check
the power system data. Connect the device only when there is compliance. The unit should be unpacked and
checked fully before connecting by a professional.
5.2 Use
WARNING
The establishment of the installation of the device and maintenance must be performed only by professionals.
• Do not leave the unit without monitor.
• During use, your hands should be dry.
• Do not move or tilt the device during operation.
INSTALLATION
1.
Unplug the previously given power source to where the hand dryer is located (see wiring pre-
installed).
2.
Use the lock wrench and remove the bottom wheel bolt located at the cover by lifting upward to
remove it from the base plate cover.
3.
If the input of the electrical wiring must be done by the back, remove suitable preformed hole on the
base plate. If the input is to be done by hand, remove the preformed area on the right side of the lid
of the power connection with the gasket seal provided. A rigid conduit should be used. For the TA-
SB model, if the conduit side entry is required, it must be specified in advance and the side.
Admission will be precut and a proper seal will be applied by the manufacturer.
4.
Choose the appropriate mounting height for the hand dryers (Table 1) and the fastener, as
recommended (Table 2). There must be no obstruction between the hand dryer and floor. When
mounted on a counter, the distance between the counter and the hand dryer must be 15 "(381 mm)
minimum.
WARNING: Do not use the mounting plate as a guide during drilling. Ensure that no pipe (gas,
water, air) or any electrical cable or wire is located directly behind the area to be drilled.
5.
Attach the mounting plate around the smooth wall. Use one of the two openings for the entry of
service to the back of the mounting plate. If using a ground wiring, use the opening on the right
side of the cover. Use the supplied gasket around the pipe to seal in the water. See installation
details.
6.
Identify the voltage of your hand dryer using the label of the unit. Then, connect to a dedicated
branch circuit not exceeding 20 amps, in accordance with local regulations on wiring and
construction. When wiring, make sure that the hand dryer is connected to a circuit including a
switch with a contact separation in all poles which ensures complete disconnection of the power
supply in case of category III overvoltage or in accordance with your local regulations on wiring
and construction.
7.
Secure the electrical wiring to the terminals as indicated by the diagram attached to the fan
housing. A connection point to land identified is provided on the mounting plate to the ground wire
of your equipment. The hand dryer must be installed according to local code requirements.
8.
In the case of multiple installations, make sure that the serial number on the inside matches the
coverage number. then carefully replace the cover by inserting the top of the cover on the carrier
and tilting downward. Use the wheel bolt previously removed in step 2.
9.
It is highly recommended to place a silicone sealant bead on the outside of the lid at the wall to
protect the hand dryer against internal corrosion caused by
