- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the
nameplate matches the mains voltage before
plugging in the appliance.
- Connect the appliance to a base with an earth
socket withstanding a minimum of 10 amperes.
- Do not allow the connection cable to come into
contact with the appliance's hot surfaces.
- Check the condition of the electrical connection
cable. Damaged or tangled cables increase the
risk of electric shock.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is
damaged.
- The appliance's plug must fit into the mains
socket properly. Do not alter the plug. Do not
use plug adaptors.
- Do not force the electrical wire. Never use
the electric wire to lift up, carry or unplug the
appliance.
- This appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.
USE AND CARE:
- Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before
each use.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains when
not in use and before undertaking any cleaning
task.
- This appliance is for household use only, not
professional or industrial use.
- This appliance should be stored out of reach of
children and/or the disabled.
- Do not put the appliance away if it is still hot.
- Turn the thermostat control to the minimum
(MIN) setting. This does not mean that the iron
is switched off permanently.
SERVICE:
- Any misuse or failure to follow the instruc-
tions for use renders the guarantee and the
manufacturer's liability null and void.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
- Before using the product for the first time, clean
the non-slip plate with a soft cloth dampened
with water.
- Connect the plug to your electrical socket and
set the temperature selector to the desired
position.
- Set the thermostat to the desired temperature.
The pilot light will come on, indicating that the
appliance is in the process of heating up.
- Wait until the pilot has gone out, indicating that
the appliance has reached the ideal tempera-
ture.
- Work with the food you want to process.
- Carefully place the food to be roasted on the
grill.
- When the food is cooked to your taste, remove
it from the appliance using a wooden spatula or
similar utensil.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE
APPLIANCE:
- Select the minimum position (MIN) using the
thermostat control.
CLEANING
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let
it cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
- -Remove the temperature selector from its
location with the connector before any cleaning
operation.
- Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a
few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or
base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products,
for cleaning the appliance.
- Do not submerge the appliance in water or any
other liquid, or place it under a running tap.
- -Not suitable for dishwashers.
- -Do not use solvents or abrasive products to
clean it.
DRIP TRAY:
- The appliance has a tray that permits you to co-
llects the fat and oil that is left in the appliance
- Remove the appliance's tray (Fig 1)
- Pour away the contents of the tray.
- After any cleaning operation, ensure that the
fixed contacts of the plate's connector are
perfectly dry.
ANOMALIES AND REPAIR
- Take the appliance to an authorised technical
support service if problems arise. Do not try to
dismantle or repair without assistance, as this
may be dangerous.
