18. Never wrap the lead cable around the
appliance and avoid bending it, in order to
prevent cable damages.
19. Use the coffee machine only indoors.
20. Make sure that there are only coffee beans
in the coffee beans container as foreign
material may destroy the grinder.
21. To prevent overheating, never cover the
appliance during operation.
22. Always use fresh, clear water to prepare
coffee and fill the water tank at least up to
the MIN mark (2 cups) but only up to the
MAX mark.

1. Make sure that your coffeemaker is clean
and descaled at all times. (see chapter
Cleaning and descaling on page 20 ).
2. Keep coffee beans and ground coffee in a
tightly closed can and store in a cool, dark
place, but not in the refrigerator.
23. Only switch the appliance on after having
filled the water tank with water.
24. For multiple use, please let the appliance
cool off for 5 minutes between each
operation.
25. Do not use the coffee jug in the microwaves,
as it is not suitable for this use.
26. Do not move the appliance as long as it is in
operation, to prevent injuries.
27. Make sure that all users, especially children,
are aware of the danger of injury from
escaping steam and hot splashing water.

28. Do not use the appliance with accessories
of other manufacturers or brands, to prevent
damage.
29. Disconnect the appliance from the wall
socket after use and prior to cleaning. Never
leave the appliance unattended when it is
connected to the wall socket.
30. Check the appliance, the wall socket and the
lead cable regularly for wear or damage. In
case the lead cable or other parts present
damages, please send the appliance or
the lead cable to our after sales service for
inspection and repair. Unauthorised repairs
can constitute serious risks for the user and
void the warranty.
31. If the lead cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its after-
sales service or a similarly qualified person
in order to avoid any hazard.
3. Use only fresh water.
4. Coffee tastes best freshly brewed. If coffee
is kept warm too long, it can become bitter.
