Plug in the cleaner, then proceed with steaming.
NOTE:
In order to significantly reduce mineral build-up and prolong the life of your steam
cleaner the use of distilled or de-mineralized water in the unit is highly recommended.
ACCESSORIES
IMPORTANT: Inspect the seal on the steam nozzle before each use, if the seal is missing
or damaged, do not use the appliance, please contact the authorized Hoover service.
Various kinds of accessories may be connected to the product, depending on the
cleaning task to be performed.
• Window squeegee [K] - To clean mirrors, windows, tiles and smooth surfaces.
• Steam brush nozzle [L] - To clean upholstery and sofas.
• Accessories support [J] - To fit windows squeegee and steam brush nozzle. It can be
used for direct steam emission on various surfaces.
• Angled nozzle [H] - To clean narrow and difficult to reach areas such as toilets,
washbasins and taps.
• Round brush [I] - To clean stubborn dirt from small surfaces such as hobs, shutters,
grout between tiles, etc.
• Small cloth [M] - To be fitted to the accessories support, protects from direct hot steam.
The correct method of attaching accessories is as follows:
• Insert the studs on the base of the accessories into the special slots in the edge of the
product.
• Turn them clockwise until they fully lock onto the appliance [9].
IMPORTANT: Since the accessories become very hot during use, you must be very
careful when removing them or replacing them. Either use an oven glove to handle them
or wait until they have cooled down. Make sure that the product is disconnected from the
mains power before changing the accessories.
CLEANER MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS ENSURE THE CLEANER HAS FULLY COOLED DOWN
BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE TASKS.
Empty the Water Tank
1. Unplug the cleaner from the mains power and ensure the unit has cooled.
2. Remove the water tank cap, pull off directly.
3. Empty any excess water from the tank. Replace the cap and return to the cleaner.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Should you have a problem with the product, complete this simple user checklist before
calling your local Hoover service.
The steam cleaner will not switch on.
• Check the unit is plugged in.
• Check the power cord.
The steam cleaner is not producing steam.
• There may be no water in the clean water tank.
• You may not wait for enough time when switch on.

When is Steam capsule handy ready? The light stop flashing and remain constant.
Can I use Steam capsule handy on all floor surfaces? On all hard floors like marble,
ceramic, stone, linoleum, sealed hardwood floors and parquet.
Does Steam capsule handy emit steam automatically? No, to produce steam you should
press Steam Trigger Button under the handle.
Can I put detergents or other chemicals inside the tank? No, you would damage the
product.
What if in the city where I live the water is very hard? You can use filtered water or
distilled or de-mineralized water, it's highly recommended.
How long will one tank of water last before needing to be refilled? Up to 15 minutes
if you press continuously the trigger.
Is the mop washable? Yes, it can be washed by hand or in the washing machine with a
mild detergent at Max temperature 40°C. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
