2.1.
Decide on the position of the CT1w
Determine the position of the CT1w by paying attention to:
The regulations of the country in which it is to be installed with regards to the position of electric devices in
special areas (showers, swimming pools, etc.).
The important indications outlined in chapter 1.2, as to versions with different power supply voltages .
The path of the connection cables of the power supply device for the CT1w and for the solenoid valve. See
chapter 3 for information on connections .
2.2.
Mounting to wall
Remove the protection case by unscrewing the three screws indicated in Fig 3 (Only for the CT1w version 100-
240Vac).
Fasten the CT1w via the 4 holes at the bottom, as indicated in Fig 4. Make sure the device is fastened
vertically in order that it functions properly when coins are inserted.
Proceed with the electrical connections as indicated in chapter 3.

LECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
WARNING: It is absolutely mandatory that the installation of the product and the electrical system are designed and
implemented by qualified technicians, in compliance with regulations in effect in the country where installation takes place.
To access the connection terminals the protection case must be removed by unscrewing the 3 screws indicated in Fig 3
(Only for the CT1w version 100-240Vac).
The 3 separate circuits are as follows:
3.1.

The protection conductor circuit (PE) for grounding

The protection conductor (PE) for grounding must not have a cross section inferior to that of the other conductors
entering the CT1w.
Connect the grounding conductor to the appropriate ring terminal provided, as indicated in Fig 5 for the CT1w version
100-240V, or in Fig 6 for the CT1w version 12Vdc. The terminal provided is suitable for cables with cross sections of
2
2.5–6 mm
.
3.2.
CT1w power supply circuit
The CT1w needs a very low power supply, as indicated in chapter 1.3
The 2 versions are:
Power supply circuit for the CT1w version 100-240Vac
3.2.1.
The cables entering the CT1w through the appropriate grommets (Fig 4) must be double isolation cables.
Connect the power supply conductors to the terminals L and N of the power supply device, as indicated in Fig 5, using
the appropriate provided terminal forks suitable for cables with cross sections of 0.5 - 1.5 mm
To interrupt the supply of power to the CT1w use a 2A double pole residual circuit breaker with overload protection and
with threshold current (Idn) equal to 30 mA .
Power supply circuit for CT1w version 12Vdc
Place the provided power supply device inside an electrical panel far from the shower area, following the regulations in
effect in the country in which installation takes place. For example the IEC60364-7 requires a distance of at least 3 m
from the shower tray (Fig 1) or at least 3.6 m from the small shower for hobless showers (Fig 2).
For connections on the power supply 12Vdc placed inside the electrical panel :
1) See Fig 7.
2) Use the appropriate terminal forks provided, which are suitable for use with cables with cross sections of 0.5 –
2
1.5 mm
.
3) To connect the power supply device's 12Vdc to the CT1w, use cables with a cross section of 1.5 mm
a maximum length of 25 m. The power supply device comes provided with an output voltage regulated at 12.5-
13 Vdc in order to compensate for any voltage drops in the cables.
To connect the 12Vdc of the power supply device to the CT1w see Fig 6: use the appropriate terminal blocks
provided and suited for use with cables with cross sections of 0.5-1.5 mm
