13. As additional protection, we recommend installation
of a residual current device (RCD/FI) with a tripping
characteristic of not more than 30 mA in the bathroom
power circuit. Consult with your electrician.
14. The appliance is intended for household use only; it is
not designed for commercial requirements.
15. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
16. During operation, leave sufficient space between the
appliance and walls and other flammable objects such
as curtains.
17. Do not operate the appliance in the vicinity of heat
sources.
18. Ensure that the air intake grille in the appliance is
unobstructed at all times. Clean the air inlet grille at
regular intervals.
19. Never cover the air inlet grille or the air outlet opening
with your hand or other objects.
20. If you have curlers, hairpins or similar items in your
hear, ensure that they do not project more than 10 mm,
to avoid contact with energised parts of the hair dryer.
21. For safety reasons, do not use the appliance to dry
artificial hair.
22. To avoid burns, never aim the hot air flow directly at
your face.
23. Do not use any hair sprays while the appliance is in
operation.
24. Switch off the appliance before you set it down.
25. The appliance is equipped with an overheating pro-
tection circuit. If operated for too long, the appliance
switches off automatically to prevent damage to the
appliance. After an appropriate cool-down time, you
can place the appliance in service again.
26. After use or prior to cleaning the appliance, always
switch off and unplug the appliance from the electri-
cal outlet and allow it to cool.
27. As long as the plug is in the electrical outlet, even if
the appliance is switched off, the appliance poses a
hazard in the vicinity of water.
